James Hewitt, Chief Executive Officer
Having extensive knowledge working with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Jim brings a wealth of experience from serving as Chief Information Officer (CIO) with organizations including Springfield Clinic (SC) and Allscripts to his role as CEO.
Upon joining Springfield Clinic in 2007, Jim’s first major act as CIO was to implement a comprehensive EHR system in stages throughout SC’s network. This phased approach received national recognition, and the completed project placed SC among the top 4% of multi-specialty clinics in the nation to have accomplished a comprehensive EHR implementation at that time.
John Pacione, President
With an education in both computer science and business administration, John has over 20 years of technology and healthcare industry experience, where he focused on improving speed, quality and cost-effectiveness of software delivery organizations.
Before Jardogs, John was Vice President of Development Operations for Allscripts, as well as Vice President of Development for their Touchworks product line – the company’s flagship Electronic Medical Record (EMR) product. There he implemented significant quality and process improvements, while also driving new product innovations to yield an ultimately superior product.
Ron Ward, Chief Technology Officer
A seasoned enterprise architect, Ron’s unparalleled technical skills combined with his dedicated work ethic set the pace for Jardogs’ development team.
Prior to Jardogs, Ron served as the Lead Architect for Allscripts’ Touchworks solution. During his nine years with Allscripts, Ron designed and implemented essential Touchworks components. Ron joined Allscripts from the Chicago-based, Options Clearing Corporation, where he designed a real-time options price editor and led research and development efforts.
Ken Mikesh, Senior Vice President, Business Development
With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, Ken is responsible for fostering new relationships and developing corporate alliances to expand Jardogs’ footprint in the marketplace.
Formerly serving as Senior Vice President of Client Development at MyHealthDIRECT (MHD), Ken specialized in corporate strategy, client acquisition and partnership development – previously holding leadership roles at RelayHealth, Allscripts and OptimusEMR as well. Ken is an active member of multiple industry groups and associations, as well as several state Health Information Exchanges (HIEs).
Kate Palazzolo, Senior Vice President, Sales
Kate’s background and education in business administration and health informatics together with a career spent leading sales and business development gives her the far-reaching perspective that defines Jardogs’ approach to sales.
Prior to Jardogs, Kate successfully closed multi-million dollar deals at Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS), and secured/managed partnerships for LRS with healthcare giants including Cerner and Epic Systems.
Brenda Stewart, Senior Vice President, Marketing
As an award-winning executive with expertise in branding and integrated marketing, Brenda has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
Brenda comes to Jardogs with previously held leadership positions at Merge Healthcare, where she directed the company’s internal and external communication activities; Modern Healthcare, where she was responsible for the publication’s strategic branding, market research and analysis, special events and advertising; and Allscripts, where she managed media activities, trade shows, public relations and communications.
